FAABulous Football Week 12: The FFPC Regular Season Finale
I know that the regular FFPC season is short, but this year went flew by lighting fast!
If you are still reading this FAABulous article every week, I hope you still have some high stakes teams that are live for a top 4 seed. And if you aren't a high stakes player, I hope you have some home leagues setting up for some playoff appearances as well.
For FFPC leagues, teams need to finish in top 4 of their league at the end of this week to continue. The top 4 seeds will compete in Week 13 and Week 14 in league playoffs to win the league championship. The top 2 seeds (best record and most points) automatically earn a spot in the sprint (and nice little payout). The league champion will also earn a spot in the sprint... this is only way for the 3 or 4 seed to advance.
Playoff teams will still have waivers during the playoffs in Weeks 13 and 14, but waivers end for everyone after Week 14... so if you think you are making playoffs plan accordingly!
We got a lot of ground to cover in this final week, I hope to help you find that last piece that can put your team over the top to stay alive.
I will also note that since this is last week of regualar season I suggest being strategic when choosing waiver amounts. You can't take money with you so if there is a player you need do what it takes! Also look at your league and how many people are still fighting for a spot and have remained active... adjust accordingly.
Now we are back to having four teams on bye the week with DEN, LAC, WAS, and MIA. I hope this article will help you cover your bases between byes and injuries, to make you feel prepared and FAABulous heading into this final week!

A Look Back at Week 11: Ship Chasing Team Standings and Waiver Wire Wins
I went through team by team, listing the players we won on waivers Week 11 and the amount we won the players for, followed by what the average bid was for those players across Main Event Leagues.
I also included some of the top players that we did not win and shared our bid range and the average bid those players went for in Main Event Leagues.

The time has come to lay the first drafted team of the year to rest. This minisodes team will live in infamy as the Alvin Kamara auto draft. The team only has four wins and trails the 4 seed by 148.05 pts, this one is Joever.

Matchup:
Won (6-5)
1513.50 pts (5th)
The team drafted with our friends Drico and Sackreligious from Stat Chasing has been fighting hard this season. The team made some big purchases at backup running back, trying to fill a void after it lost Bucky Irving and Omarion Hampton with Ollie Gordon, Sean Tucker, Michael Carter, and Hassan Haskins. Then they got some massive waiver wins with Devin Neal, Troy Franklin, Tre Tucker, and Jeremy McNichols all for $1. This team has survived on only $1 for the last several weeks. The team continues to fight hard, and put up a win with 170 points to stay alive and fight for survival. Heading into the final week the team is in 5th place, only 20.1 points behind the 4 seed... this week is getting sweaty!

Neko Case
Winning Bids:
Luther Burden $43
Waiver Average Bid: $49
Harrison Mevis $3
Waiver Average Bid: $4
Matchup:
Won (7-4)
1547.15 pts (4th)
My team held onto the 4 seed this week and extended our lead to 36.45 pts ahead of the 5th place team. The 1st seeded team battled on Monday night armed with Brandon Aubrey and Jake Ferguson against Ashton Jeanty, ultimately winning by 1.55 points. If the 1 seed had lost, we would have been in a 4-way tie for best record with an outside shot to move into a higher seeded position. As it stands now heading into the finals we look to hold on strong with the 4th seed, and prepare to fight the two week battle for the league championship to get into the sprint.

Arcade Fire

Aaron Rodgers $12
Waiver Average Bid: $19
Andy Borregales $3
Waiver Average Bid: $3
Matchup:

The ADP Chasing team was hanging on by a thread heading into the week. The team needed to put up points... tons of them, and fell short of the mission. The team remains 89.25 points behind the 4 seed and would have to pass three other teams as well to get a playoff spot. Did I mention that WAS and LAC were on bye this week... things are looking a bit grim here.

Wolf Parade
Winning Bids:
Brenton Strange $17
Waiver Average Bid: $40
Matchup:
Loss (2-9)
1399.05 pts (11th)
I told you last week that this team had used up all its lives. Another loss here did not help the cause, pour one out for what could have been.

The CrakRok team has been a rollercoaster ride this season. The team started off very slow, then started winning. Heading into last week the team was still live for a top 4 seed if it could win out and the top team lost (at minimum). The chances were small, but after losing the dream is dead.

Loss (7-4)
1628.50 pts (1st)
I am happy to follow up the last sad story with a happier one. The team drafted with Shawn Siegele here lost, but still held onto the top seed. The team is now in a 3- way tie for best record, but holds a sizable lead with 109.8 more points than the 2 seed. This team is ready for battle!

Hot Hot Hot
Winning Bids:
Jayden Higgins $1
Waiver Average Bid: $34
Matchup:
Won (9-2)
1532.50 pts (1st)
The final main event team to discuss is the team drafted with Ben Gretch that won yet again and remains in 1st place heading into Week 12. The team has a two game win lead for record, thus the 1 seed is locked and loaded here... LFG!

SC
Winning Bids:
Keaton Mitchell $26
Waiver Average Bid: $27
Matchup:
Won (6-5)
1626.80 pts (4th)
The Big Payback 5k team with Ben Gretch and Mike Leone is not a main event team, there is no sprint and is a self contained league. The regular season here extends to Week 14, and the top-6 teams in terms of victory points, advance to league playoffs in Week 15-Week 17. The win this week keeps the team firmly in the playoff mix heading down the stretch.

Week 12 Waiver Priorities for FFPC
Below are all the players I like for Week 12 for FFPC leagues. I break down all players into tiers with FAAB suggestions, followed by player analysis and a list of players to consider dropping.
This article is also intended to provide value for those of you who play in deeper league formats and dynasty leagues.
Please note that with a drop list, you do not have to drop these players and all suggestions are general as it is impossible to cover all nuances of individual leagues.
