FAABulous Football Week 4: The Gang Is All Here
Welcome back to another FAABulous week of football. We saw another plethora of injuries this week and learned no position is safe, as this time running backs were hit hardest.
We continue to see a wild world play out in front of us, packed with surprises.
The Chargers remain winless while the Raiders are undefeated with Kirk Cousins at the helm.
We then saw the return of Sam Darnold who staged an admirable comeback of his own, only to lose to the Commanders in the end after Marcus Mariotta keeps the ball and runs for the first down to secure the win.
Finally we ended the week by watching Case Keenum beat the Philadelphia Eagles in prime time.
This was also another low scoring week for fantasy overall and I sit here and over some difficult feelings which begin to surface.
The Drake Maye regression season has hit me hard in the feels, as I am left wondering what is going on in New England.
The only thing that could make me feel worse than watching Drake Maye these last 3 weeks is watching Jaylen Warren miss not once, but twice on a wide open touchdown (thanks Pete).
Surely the Cowboys and Ravens game in Brazil is provide me a much needed pick me up I thought.
Well, I thought wrong as I proceeded to watch a game where the Cowboys are their own worst enemy with penalties, conservative play calls, special teams blunders, and another atrocious defensive performance against the Ravens.
My Cowboys had a chance to win the game, instead a series of unfortunate events unfolded. Dak refused to throw the winning touchdown pass to George Pickens who had a step on the defender, as it became abundantly clear the boys were content to play for the tie.
Then after kicking a field goal to tie the game the Cowboys opt to kick a touchback giving Lamar just enough time to complete a 27 yard pass to Zay Flowers and put Tyler Loop in range for his game winning 56 yard field goal.
Now, we can put the past behind us as we head into week 4. This week is our last big slate ,the last week where the gang is all here together before the bye weeks begin in Week 5.

The minisodes team is on fire with almost a 75 point lead on the next highest point team in the league. This team owes much of its success to strong running back duo of CMC and Ken Walker. This team has not escaped the injury curse, but somehow has seen things play out in a balanced state to offset the losses. I am excited to take this team all the way to the sprint.

The Looksmaxxers team lost Jayden Daniels and was lucky enough to secure Geno Smith, who put up a monster quarterback score in his absence. However this team also lost Breece Hall due to injury, saw a floor performance from Quinshon Judkins. The real nail in the coffin was the double duds at wide receiver, which even a ceiling George Kittle and JSN performance could not fix.

Ron's team suffered another tough loss at the hand of friend of the channel Gormanji. Ron was another victim of Tetairoa McMillan, while rookie Jadarian Price fumbled away his opportunity for a win this week. At least we saw Brock Bower's return was with a dominant performance.

Sam's team was another victim of Jayden Daniel's injury and he chose to start Malik Willis at quarterback. We saw the first floor Jonathan Taylor game of the season, luckily here that was paired with a solid Garrett Wilson performance and double TE studs of Trey McBride and rookie Kenyon Sadiq. Wow imagine double Jets being what you needed.

The ADP Chasing team also dodged some bullets, however this was within the matchup itself. Heading into Monday night the team needed Luther Burden to come through, and I had my doubts after watching the Bears the first two weeks. I am happy to report this team has manged to survive while Puka remains out of commision.

My team needed a big win after a disappointing performance the week prior. I too lost Jayden Daniels and bid heavy to secure CJ Stroud. Losing Breece doesn't feel great, but the Jeremiyah Love usage is something to get excited about. I am hoping Aaron Jones can keep me afloat at running back until Breece returns.

The CrakRok team was easily the worst beat of the week. This team started off undefeated and somehow we are at a point where is could not score 100 points. The team was another Puka team and this one lost Terrance Ferguson as well. Bucky is not feeling great after the Baker injury, this one is going to take a bit of work to put back together again.

The Stat Chasing team was the most disappointing loss of the week. This team put up one of the bigggest numerical scores, but sometimes varience of H2H matchups will get you. This team remains in good shape if it can continue to put up a good amount of points every week. I do admit, I am a little worried about Tampa Bay's offense without Baker Mayfield.

Nick and I had almost abandoned all hope on this team asfter a disappointing 0-2 start to the season after drafting the Bowers and Flowers combo along with the double rookie receivers in Jordyn Tyson and Makai Lemon. This week began to look up as Bowers looked good in his return, as did Flowers, and it remains possible we get Tyson back. I am not giving up the fight here yet.
Week 4 Waiver Priorities for FFPC
Below are all the players I like for Week 4 for FFPC leagues. I break down all players into tiers with FAAB suggestions, followed by player analysis and a list of players to consider dropping.
This article is also intended to provide value for those of you who play in deeper league formats and dynasty leagues.
Please note that with a drop list, you do not have to drop these players and all suggestions are general as it is impossible to cover all nuances of individual leagues.
